  12. I completely forgot about comp.lang.c, and posted my original announcement
  13. only to comp.lang.c.moderated and comp.std.c.

  15. I have been developing a printf() replacement, which may become a proposal
  16. for the C committee.  (In fact, there's a cover sheet for a proposal in
  17. place, and the implementation is mostly running now.)  I'm looking for
  18. beta testers, commentary, or feedback on this "improved printf".  The
  19. primary change is the ability for the user to register conversion handlers,
  20. so that user defined types can be handled with printf.
